Nicolas Garcia is an architectural designer and fabricator living in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Born in Espanola, Nick was raised on a goat, sheep, and green chile farm in the mountains of northern New Mexico. After graduating high school, he moved to Albuquerque to attend the University of New Mexico where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture in 2016. Upon graduating he joined the team at Jon Anderson Architecture as an Architectural Intern where he worked for 3 years. Finally moving to Ann Arbor, Nick attended the University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning where he received his Master of Architecture in Winter 2021. Using his architectural design experience along with his diverse fabrication skillset, Nick hopes to directly shape the built environment in an effort to make design equitable while also experimenting with new methods of design and construction.

In his free time, Nick enjoys reading, building things, working with his 3D printer, playing guitar, and screaming at the TV while the San Antonio Spurs play.
